Medium Rigid Licence is for a truck, bus, prime mover, tractor or a mobile crane over 8-ton GVM with a maximum of 2 axles, with or without a trailer of not more than 9-ton GVM.
Medium Rigid Licence – A bus or truck (including a prime mover or a mobile crane) over 8t GVM with a maximum of 2 axles.
Note: You may also tow a trailer with a maximum weight of 9t GVM.

Example : If you hold valid overseas licences for heavy rigid or higher class more then two years than you don’t need to wait two years to upgrade your licence from Car to Heavy Rigid.
